Lynn Schofield Clark, Ph.D., is an author and Associate Professor at the University of Denver’s Department of Media, Film, and Journalism Studies. She’s studied family media uses among U.S. young people and their parents for more than 12 years, and has written numerous books and articles, including the award-winning From Angels to Aliens: Teenagers, the Media, & the Supernatural (Oxford U Press, 2005) and Media, Home, & Family (Routledge, 2004) for which she was a coauthor. She is also author of the forthcoming book, Parenting in a Digital Age. She and tv producer Jon Clark co-parent Jonathan, an 11-year-old fishing enthusiast, and Allison, a 9-year-old lover of animals, soccer, and play.
